International inspiring speakers with tons of humor
Are you organizing an event, workshop, training, debate or conference and are you looking for an inspiring (keynote) speaker on gender diversity aspects?
All our partners are frequently asked international (keynote) speakers. We give keynotes on various topics, based on our books like “Stratego® for women” and “The unwritten rules in business”. Our lectures are inspirational, fun and educational. And there is always a lot of recognition. Wether it is a group of women or a mixed audience, they will go back to work wiser, more cheerful and full of optimism and decisiveness.
Practical and to the point
The partners of In Touch offer a unique combination of great expertise and a lot of personal experience. In addition to theory and especially many practical tips, there is certainly room for humor.
Topics we like to talk about with great passion are:
- Stratego for women, the unwritten rules of the game
- Genderbias about our unconscious assumptions
- Visibility, business presentation and media performance
- Negotiating skills for women
- Levels of power, five ways to exert more influence
- Influence the players in the game: Archetypical gods and goddesses
- Unwritten rules and Dutch culture, for expats and women with a different nationality than Dutch
Our lectures are rated with an average of 9 (out of 10). You can also ask us to lead a debate or chair the day.
We would love to meet you, so please call or email us and we can discuss opportunities more in detail.

Elisa de Groot has a lot of experience in human resources and change management. She has over 25 years of experience in empowering women, female talent development and gender diversity and inclusion. She is author of several successful management books like the eversellers ‘Stratego for women’ and ‘The unwritten rules in business’. Elisa is an inspirational facilitator and keynote speaker and she is admired for her ability to interact with her audience and her humor.
Mira Vasic obtained her PhD as a structural engineer in Milan. She worked as a passionate lecturer at several universities all over the world and, among others, she was a senior advisor and researcher at TNO. Mira has a passion for leadership development and empowering women. Together with her experience as an expat she will mainly focus on expanding our services to the international and expat market.
Monic Bührs pursued her studies in the fields of electric engineering, marketing and business administration. After several management positions she co-founded In Touch women resource management in 1997. Her company is specialized in female careers. She develops various leadership programs for companies to keep female talent on board. She also trains and coaches women in their careers. Monic Bührs is also co-author of several management books. The book ‘Stratego for women’ was nominated management book of the year. Monic is a frequently asked national and international speaker. Her value is her down to earth approach and her great sense of humor.
Monic Bührs and Elisa de Groot facilitated the kick-off for our Oracle Women Leadership event in 2011. They shared the unwritten rules from their bestseller “Stratego voor vrouwen”. And they did this in a very inspiring and interactive way. Tge female participants all draw their personal field of influence which gave them all enormous eyeopeners. A year later they facilitated the same workshop in Belgium. A few years ago the organized a workshop for women and men about the different levels op influence. Both men and women were very inspired, understood more about how differently both men and women tend to influence others and that it is not about right or wrong.
Julia, thank you for your extremely strong and valued contribution to this event. You managed to keep the attention by sharing facts and personal (sometimes even vulnerable) experiences. The audience would have loved to hear more. We will definitely hire you again!
Elisa de Groot led a workshop on leadership style preferences for our Amex female employee network, which she based on findings from her well-known management book ‘Stratego voor vrouwen’ and the associated masterclass. I found Elisa to be highly impactful in making leaders of today and tomorrow (men and women) aware of their preferred leadership style as well as their perceptions preventing them from realizing their full potential. Elisa is analytical and strategic in mindset, as well as someone who can make a direct connection with people from all walks of life, and a great facilitator in group settings. I highly recommend Elisa as business partner in helping an organization shape its talent and diversity agenda
I know Monic as one of the trainers and coaches of the ‘Women’s Career Program’. She is very goal-oriented and really believes that women need to take more influence in companies. She has a lot of knowledge about the unwritten rules, which are mainly masculine. She had tons of examples and uses a lot of humor. She can be direct and will always say what you want to hear. She will never say that men need to change. Her focus is to teach women the rules of the game and challenge them to to play the game in their own authentic way. Because of her direct and no-nonsense feedback I have learned to play the game without having to transform in to a ‘man wearing a dress’.
